Recommended: Organizational and societal role of PR

My initial response would be, “Yes, I do realize how extremely important it is that we as a school look good to the public. I have tried all the ways I know how to get our school in media with little success. What suggestions could you give me?” To increase the media coverage at my school, I would first invite them out to a fun event, such as a parent night, poetry slam, or game night. Then I would have teachers and/or parents write articles about what our school is doing and send them into the paper. I would also try to team up with Locust Valley in an event that is always covered by the media that way both schools would be in the media. I would ask Sandra Miller about times that Locust Valley is always in the paper that way she can type

We gained seven (7) new Adopters who have formally taken the charge to provide resources that all students will need to achieve academically. Life Church gives us food. Bellview Baptist Church comes in and tutors all our 2nd grade students. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity has volunteered to come in and work with our students on STEM projects. We have Omega Psi Phi who comes in an exposes our kids to social and character development. And the list goes on.
