I Want To Pursue My Scholarship

As a contributing member to our community, I believe that I am a great model to exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and character. One way that I exhibit scholarship is my grades, by holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.664. I show my dedication by working as hard, smart, and efficient as possible, both while in and outside of the classroom. I exhibit leadership not only in the classroom, but also in athletics. I am a leader for the cross country team, as well as the basketball team. I take a lot of pride in being someone that my teammates can look to as a standard for effort and preciseness. As far as exemplifying service, although I have not documented many silver cord forms, I am an active member in the community. I personally do not feel the need for me to document the service hours that I complete, because it is not about getting recognition for me, but rather just helping those in need. I have helped set up local 5K Fun Run’s, as well as help out with the food bank through my church. Last but definitely not least, I exemplify character. I personally get along with everyone in the school, and I feel like I am an extremely genuine and honest citizen. I am an extremely hard worker, I lead by example, and I never try to find excuses. As the dedicated student-athlete that I am, I have managed to become one of the better students in the classroom, as well as one of the best athletes. This has not come by luck, but rather by the grace of God and the work ethic that he has blessed me with.
