After taking almost a year and a half break from school, I am ready to earn my MBA in health care management. I’m very excited to embark on this journey. Earning my master’s degree will provide me with sense of pride and self worth. I plan to use my master's degree to help me pursue a career in health care management. I’m motivated to become a health care manager for numerous reasons. Becoming a health care manager would permit me to achieve my career/education goals, permit me to do something I’m passionate about and allow me to impact many lives. As a role model for my child, I felt this was an important goal to accomplish. Overcoming many obstacles I was able to complete my bachelor’s degree in June of 2014. Finishing my bachelor’s degree in health service administration was a major accomplishment for me and something that I'm proud of. After completing this goal, I felt motivated to continue with my education. I made a personal goal to obtain my master’s degree before the age of thirty. Also, I ‘m made a goal to find a career that I was passionate about. Subsequently, I started researching how I could accomplish my two new goals. While researching career and options, I discovered health care management. After my research, I realized that as a health care manger, I would still be able to help others. Which is an important factor in my career choice. Health care managers are just as vitals as doctors, nurse and other clinical professionals. At that point, I knew this was the career for me.
