Recruiting is the selection of potential and qualified candidates based on a particular job. The ultimate goal in this process is to attract the most qualified applicants. Before the recruitment process can start, a plan must be put in to place. This also depends on the organization’s budget. Recruitment and selection is a very important function because it has to ultimately reduce costs of mistakes like hiring candidates that are incompetent, unmotivated, or under qualified.
