I saw the open plains while our pickup truck chugs down the road, when gunshots disturbed the peace a few hundred meters away. We stopped our car and hopped out of it, when immediately my teammate got shot from behind us. I whipped around full speed and put two shots into the enemy player’s military level helmet, killing him quickly. My remaining teammate and I ran further into the map as an electric blue border slowly caught up to us. As it passed us I saw the white health bar on my screen tick down one hit point out of 100 every 2 seconds. We dashed to the compound north of us and took medical supplies since our health is lower than desirable. Following that, my teammate and I ran towards the compound, I saw an enemy right in front of me cresting the hill, the enemy player and I reacted at the same time and aimed our rifles at each other, and with a few quick shots I knocked him down. …show more content…
I glanced behind a small ridge behind the hill and see two enemies lined up for easy shots. I knocked down both of them, my suppressor ticking with every shot that came out of the barrel. A machine gun shot in the background and I got an indicator that my friend was knocked down; I peek my head out and saw him running along the wall of a building. I took a few quick shots at the enemy and then prone out, my hands sweating as I looked at the top right corner to see there was 2 other people still alive. I tried to revive my teammate when I suddenly heard a flurry of gunshots behind me and my health bar turned red to indicate health below 20 percent. I turned around and shot the guy quickly as my teammate bled out. I lay back down prone and took a first aid kit and some painkillers. I looked back up at the player count, two more alive. It was me and one other person. I started to loot a couple of bodies when I heard
“We are under attack!” Jimmy, our patrol man, yells leaping for the trench. A bullet pierces his skull before hits the ground leaving his body lifeless and bloody at my feet.

Imagine bracing under a desk not knowing if someone will break into your classroom and start firing rounds. On April 20, 1999 Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 13 people in Columbine High School. They planned the attack for months but showed signs of something wrong for years. They started their attack but placing bombs inside the school hoping they would detonate sending a flurry of students out of the school, this did not work making them start their rampage inside the school (“Columbine Tragedy” 1.) In April of 2007, Seung-Hui Cho shot 32 people around the campus of Virginia Tech. He started his attack near his dorm killing 2 students, then moved on to a hall where classes had already started ("Students Killed in Virginia Tech” 1.) In the most recent tragedy, Adam Lanza shot 20 first graders and staff members on December 14, 2012. He killed his own mother before breaking into the school and killing the first people he saw. He then moved on to a pair of first grade classrooms and 20
Most gun stores and country people want to own a gun range to relieve stress or to get practice for a hunt. As with most structures, gun ranges contain its checklist instructions for proper safety and for the user’s comfort. Suitably, any gun range should be able to be upheld by this specific checklist, which has to do with proper foundation, easy access to targets, and firing slots for individuals.
It is not possible to have race without racism. Racism is learned behavior. Individuals that are raised or saturated in an environment with racist ideals will eventually take on those ideas as their own, even without understanding. This behavior can perpetuate itself through generations. Additionally, individuals with little exposure to other races and nationalities may become racist due to their ignorance or through an isolated negative experience with someone of another race. This negative experience may shape how an individual views an entire race. Finally, it is natural for humans to want to categorize people into stereotypes, even if they do not agree or uphold those viewpoints. With exposure and education, these categories begin to expand and overlap, broadening an individuals' views on race.
The depiction of gun safety for children is a much needed in the home. According to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, over 1,600 kids were killed by guns alone and another 9,718 were injured by one. A high percentage of these deaths came from children playing with guns that were loaded while the parent was not present ("Gun Violence: Facts and Statistics | Violence Prevention Initiative"). Increasing crime rates in our society is influencing more citizens to go out and purchase a gun to protect their family and property. One-third of every home has a gun and just about every home has kids in them which make it very dangerous for the children. If you own a gun or not, it is very important that you talk to and teach your children about gun safety because most guns are not properly stored away or have a lock on the firearm. Often children learn about guns from their friends, cartoons, and other places and then they pretend to play with guns.
Nikolas Cruz a nineteen year old guy have went to South Florida High School to threat the citizens. His violets are really out of control right after his mother’s death last year in November. The law enforcement have been warn to Cruz about his behavior. On Thanksgiving day Nikolas have worked at the Dollar Tree store. When the Sheriff office had fine out that Nikolas was hiding a gun before he has his job. My opinion is that Nikolas behavior is a extreme true because he had choose to threaten people in a ridiculous way if the cops won’t turn him in very sooner before it’s too late. Citizens needs to be safe away from Cruz before things will happen.
A local police department is facing scrutiny by the African American community for the killing of an unarmed African American man. Diante Yarber was shot at by a Barstow law enforcement officer while waiting in a Walmart parking lot. It is estimated that the police fired 30 rounds at the parked car. The shooting has sparked protests among residents of Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Additionally, video of the shooting has been viewed over 200,000 times on social media. The Yarber’s lawyer, S. Lee Merritt, alleges that the family is ready to sue both the city and the police department. According to Merritt, “this is the worst case of excessive force that I’ve ever seen”. Additionally, Merritt states that “unless you know they are actively engaging
Shooting mechanics are a tricky thing to evaluate. Most NBA players arrive to the league with a formed jump shot, and this can be an issue if the shots are simply not falling in. Reworking your shooting style is a process that involves ditching old habits, which can be tough to overcome. A shooting coach will help you with a jumper, but he can’t force you to execute it correctly every time.
The United States is one of the only countries with the continuing problem of mass murder. 58 people lost their lives and more than 50 were injured when a man opened fire at an outdoor country music festival in Las Vegas on October 1st, 2017 (Hanley 6). This is one of countless massacres that have occurred in the United States. It is no surprise when one turns the TV on in the morning and a “News Flash” story pops up on the latest shooting. Gregory Kate of USA Today states that there has been greater than 200 events of mass murder in the past 10 years. It is no secret that guns are an easily accessible weapon in the United States, and in numerous other countries that is not the case. Most people can obtain a firearm with a simple, online background check on a computer. Within minutes the check is completed. Kate states the only people to be declined would be: "felons, fugitives, drug addicts, the mentally ill, illegal immigrants, some legal immigrants, people
