udging others comes at a price. I will never forget the day I left six people to die. My morning began beautifully that day; I was on my way to Australia for spring break on my first cruise. I spent most of my trip on the top deck, which was fantastic, equipped two pools, a Jacuzzi, and three bars. About halfway through my journey, the large ship vibrated beneath my feet, I didn't think anything of it since this was my first time on a ship. My zestful vacation came to an abrupt halt as soon as I heard the sirens and screams informing me to “Get the hell off the ship!” Panicked and frozen with fear, I couldn't move. A handsome and heroic man saved my life that day, he grabbed my hand and began to run. The vibrations of the sinking ship grew stronger and it was becoming unsafe to stay on board. It was like the Titanic; people were falling and sliding everywhere. We stopped in an empty hallway, the sounds of the screaming anxious people echoed off the walls. Starting to lose all hope, I remember sitting on the floor crying, I couldn't believe I was about to die on a spring break cruise with a boy I just met. Before I could comprehend what was happening, Marc threw me overboard onto what I thought would be the salty ocean water, but was taken aback by the hard wooden lifeboat coming in contact with my boney ass. Marc lowered the boat as fast as he could, trying to get away from the pushy sunburned group of men approaching. When the lifeboat hit the water my heart sunk, there was nothing around us. I had no idea where I was, let alone where the nearest body of land was located. Looking back, I think Marc miscalculated the distance between the lifeboat and large cruise ship. He jumped towards the lifeboat, but upon his landing, a wave swept me and the boat further
