The National Honor Society is based off of four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. The NHS has many important functions, but the main one is to help students grow into leaders. It helps us take the role of leadership and also contribute to the world. We also must have a distinguished character with an outstanding academic view. Furthermore, it also will help us provide a service to’ our community and engage others to also provide service. If I were to be selected to this group, I would contribute to the growth and success of National Honor Society by maintaining leadership, character and being committed to the group. I will give all my time and dedication to this organization and never fail to meet the expectations. I will strive to make the group better and also contribute to ideas. I want everyone to feel like they belong, especially the homeless, they should be able to experience love and affection, just like everyone does. I would like to deliver food and blankets, from donations, for the homeless and the same time run a local food pantry to help them and anyone in need of assistance. We need to make the world a better place, in order for that to happen, we have to organize a cleanup within our city, start a recycling program and also let everyone know that we can all contribute by helping out. Most importantly, I would like to raise funds for research for medical awareness about a medical condition. There’s many conditions that go unseen every day, but we can change that, we can help everyone become aware of those conditions. We can together change people’s life and make the world a better
I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. Whether that means coming in early in the morning or staying late after school, I would do any means necessary to show my commitment.
Being proud of something can have many different meanings to people, but to me, it means to be honored and to be glad that something happened. I am proud about many things in my life but one thing I am extremely proud of is my induction into the NJHS. NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society.

Due to my experiences and abilities as a student, I believe I can be considered a strong candidate for the National Honor Society as I will be able to contribute to society most effectively and reach my full potential in helping others. National Honors Society is an extremely prestigious and well-known group that gave me the opportunity to assist the community while working harmoniously with my peers. To get into NHS, there are four pillars one must fulfill, including, scholar, service, leadership, and character. One may not realize it, but these qualities apply all throughout life. The National Honor Society is a very prestigious organization that I would love to be a part of. It was an honor to be nominated as a candidate. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I have always wanted to be a member of the National Honor Society. As I look back over the years and think of the times I have attended the ceremonies and saw all the awards the members received, I recall saying to myself “That’s going to be me one day.”. I asked my teachers about all the requirements that had to be met to be a National Honor Society member and I made it my main goal to meet each and every one.
To be in the National Junior Honor Society, one must have good citizenship and character. I seek to be a part of this society because it is a great honor and shows not only to others, but also to myself, how hard I have worked throughout my years at Northvale Public School. I take part in school activities and have helped my teachers, so that my classmates and myself can have a better learning experience. During Brain Busters meets, there are times that I am in charge of the group I am in and although it is a lot of responsibility, I know that my team depends on me to help them.
