How can I tell when and if I’m successful in life? The definition of success is difficult for many people to recognize. Our knowledge of being successful is fulfilled with other ideas and expressions. Such as that you have to possess a lot of money and have a wealthy paying job to be successful. Meeting another person's expectations of successful does not necessarily make you successful personally. If you have a good education, then those skills will help you get into the colleges you want to be in. You can pick which career is most interesting to you, and then be able to enjoy your job because you enjoy what you do. For example, if you try your best to get good grades and stay involved with your school or community throughout your K-12 education, then you’re most likely to get into the college or university you want to get accepted to. Colleges and universities always have something that they’re known for and if you like the health science cluster, then you might want to go to a college or university that is known as a medical or nursing school. Success is not measured by how much money you have and how good your job is; it is to never give up on what you enjoy and want to achieve. This includes making your family proud and exceeding their expectations and exceeding your own. You should have job satisfaction, when going to work everyday you shouldn't feel a burden and it shouldn’t cause unnecessary stress. Many people believe that being successful means being a millionaire with three houses around the world or having the latest fashion. People sometimes fail to forget that tomorrow is never promised and material belongings stay behind after death. So what exactly does it mean being successful? In my eyes being successful means being well educated, treating people fairly, and leaving at least one positive mark on someone else’s life.
