The career path that I have chosen is is very broad, but it’s more than a career choice for me it’s become a passion. Becoming a Forensic Science Pathologist is one of my biggest plans; Forensic Science Pathologist focus on examining bodies of people(s) who have died violently, suddenly, and or unexpectedly. It’s now my job to investigate, analyze, and collect data which will better help me solve the cases. I completed classes in high school that I knew would be beneficial to my career path such as, biology, chemistry and AP Chemistry. I’ve invested time, money into my career path. This past summer I attended National Youth Leadership Forum Law & CSI. I was afforded the opportunity to examine a mock crime scene where we collected DNA, blood, footprints, hair, and handwriting to determine who was responsible for the crime. Having this experience gave me a first hand experience of what I will most likely be doing in my future career plan. I believe that it really prepared me while giving me insight of what a Forensic Science Pathologist job description consist of .I plan to attend Jackson State University where I will receive my M.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Forensic Science. Upon my completion of my undergraduate degree I will then embark on my journey of medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science. In medical school, I’ll enroll in classes such as; advanced anatomy, physiology, medical law, and microbiology. Now I’ll have to complete my residency in order to receive my Medical Doctorate M.D. The residency will provide me with the foundation I will need to further my career. My dream employment is
