THESIS: Joel Dinerstain, a professor at Tulane University along with Frank Goodyear, a photographer scholar, shaped the “American Cool” exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery in the nation’s capital. Together they listed the 100 coolest Americans to display at the exhibit. Dinerstain and Goodyear, judged these people based on original vision, iconic power, cultural rebellion, and recognized cultural legacy. Though, they seem to have forgotten the founder of Microsoft, a significant giant in the technology arena.
