Should secondary school have recess? Secondary schools should not have recess, because it takes time out of class. Some schools don't have enough class time to teach or learn about the topic that they are learning so they don't have to reteach it to the students. One reason is that we are throwing away class time when we have recess, so if we didn't have recess then we will learn more then if we had recess.
