The leaders were necessary since ancient times. Firstly, they task was to protect their tribe, made sure that his tribe always have the food. Later effective leadership helps to defend their country and at the same time extend national boundaries. In these days leadership makes a business company successful, allows a non-profitmaking organizations to achieve its mission. Thus, every company, organization and, of course, countries have a leaders, who decied wht is the best for them company, employees and etc. Furthermore, „The absence of leadership is equally dramatic in its effects“. (D. Quinn Mills, 2005) Due to, without leadership companies, organizations probably move too slowly with innovations, developing and in the end can lose their way. Moreover, there are a lot of books about organizations in which is emphasized decision making, which means that if your decision making is timely, complete, correct, then things will go fine. But the decision by itself will not change anything. When decision is made, an organization or company meet with the problem such as, how to get things done in timely and also effective way. „Problems of implementation are really issues about how leaders influence behavior, change the course of events, and overcome resistance. “ (D. Quinn Mills, 2005) In other words, leadership is very important when you want to implement decision successfully. To be a leader is difficult, because you have to know almost everything that you can lead, that other people listen to you and feel respect for the leader. Moreover, leaders are one of the main part in the company without him probably all over the place would be chaos. We all know that every company has the main leader who is the head of whole company and then company is divided into smaller departments where every department has their leader who from time to time has to report their department work to the head of the company. Also, we know that there are creative leaders in the companies.
So, summing up the data I have looked into my introduction, I find out what creativity is and what leadership is, like different parts. Later, I try to describe what creative leadership is and what is situation in today’s companies with leader, especially with creative leaders. Thus, I came with the question: How we understand creative leadership and why (whether) do we need that kind of leaders in today’s companies?
What is creative leadership and how (important it has in today’s companies) much it is important in today’s companies?
