Growing up, I was a girl who had a wild imagination, endless ambitions and deep appreciation of computers and its related sciences. Such characteristics were not only reflected in the high grades I obtained in my computer sciences and mathematics classes in high school, but also facilitated a notion that I possess the potential to specialize my studies and future profession in the technology. During my senior year in high school, I had took upon myself to study the rapid changes within the local labor market along with the new career opportunities that have arose, due to the technological advances of the age, to accurately identify the most suitable profession for me. Of such career options that appealed to me the most was a field that combined both computer and business sciences, two fields of significant importance to any emerging country such as mine, and that field was Information Systems. Therefore, upon graduating I applied to King Abdulaziz University to major in Information systems.
As an undergraduate student, I was a dedicated student devoted to expand my increasing knowledge of the field; therefore, I attempted to benefit all I could from my courses. Furthermore, I attended several IS courses both while as an undergraduate and post to graduating. Of such courses was the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which presented me with a practical understanding to one of the various applications of the technology. In summer of 2010, I enrolled in several Systems Applications and Products (SAP), an emerging planning system that is adopted and implemented by numerous organizations and enterprises today, at the IT Department at the Saudi Arabian Airlines. During that period, I was also presented with the opportunity to train at ...

...towards introducing information systems in its public and private establishments and I am determined to contribute in such an overdue transition. Moreover, if I am successful in joining the MSIS program at GMU, I believe that I will possess the knowledge, skills and expertise to do as such.
In conclusion, my name is Sarah Bukhari and I seek to join the MSIS program at George Mason University. I realize that there are students who may hold better qualifications than I may and that admission to the program is highly selective. However, I truly believe that I possess the will and ability to learn, grow and excel as a graduate, and a future IS professional and academic, if you chose to present me with the opportunity. I am steadfast committed to exceed my expectations and continue my journey towards achieving my goals, and so I thank you for considering my application.
When I mention the names Sarah Grimke and Frederick Douglass what comes to mind? Abolitionists? Equal rights activists? Of course, these two individuals are making great strives to fight for what they believe in. The sad thing about it is that we don’t have enough people with the likes of these two. England abolished slavery in 1834 so how long will we go on with this inhumane cruelty toward people. Our country is in a state of denial and if we don’t wake up soon, we will all pay the price. I’m going
Sarah, the Evil Mistress Although Hagar flaunts her pregnancy with Abraham in the face of Sarah who is barren, Sarah is ultimately responsible for generating trouble in Abraham’s household. Through Sarah’s decision to give Hagar to Abraham, Sarah’s jealousy and anger towards Hagar’s reaction to conception, and also Sarah’s harsh treatment of Hagar, we are able to understand why Sarah is truly the one accountable for the negative circumstances throughout her relationship with Hagar. Initially
Sarah Vaughan, born March 27, 1924, was very talented and everyone knew this. The word was passed along so even those that never went to church knew how gifted she was. The word got around to Newark's Little Jimmy Scott, a jazz singer himself. He remembered the gossip being that Sarah Vaughan could become another Marian Anderson. Because Sarah grew up hearing her mother sing in the church choir, it seemed only natural for her to follow her mothers' footsteps and become involved with the musical
Sarah Dessen When a writer with a creative mind writes a story, the composition does not just become a generic, hear it everyday kind of story. An amazing author will become one with the writing and possibly put their own story down. They will put inspiration and life lessons they had once learned in the past, so their readers may learn it also. That is exactly what Sarah Dessen does, the life around her is put onto paper for others to learn and read. Dessen was not like the other girls in her younger

Sarah Weddington: Roe vs. Wade St. Olaf College's theme for Women's History Month is "Women in Politics." The featured guest speaker was Sarah Weddington, the attorney who, in 1973, argued the winning side of Roe vs. Wade before the United States Supreme Court. Realism in Patricia MacLachlan’s Sarah, Plain and Tall A book that has a clear understanding of what is “real” is often thought to be a quality book. Although what is thought to be “real” is different for everyone, for me it is how easily I am able to relate to the characters in the book. If I can sympathize and understand what they are going through on an emotional level and can put myself in their shoes, I am more apt to enjoy the story. Narrative style and structure play a very important
everyone else, Sarah Bernhardt, the most famous French actress had many life events as a child through growing up that led her to become an actress. Without the events that happened during Sarah Bernhardt’s childhood she wouldn’t have become a star and acclaimed actress. This paper outlines what I believe to be the turning points in her life. Some are by her choice, some are her reacting to the situation she was in and some were just plain luck, but they all form a path for Sarah to become one of
Patricia MacLachlan's Life Reflected in Sarah, Plain, and Tall Beyond MacLachlan's basic interest in creating a good children's novel in Sarah, Plain, and Tall, she also has a very personal investment in connecting her story and its characters with the many facets of her personal experiences: family, her beliefs, and her biography. It seems odd that an only child, from an intact family, would have the insight to write so detailed about the feelings of loss and a blended family. When asked
Dreamland by Sarah Dessen, Penguin Group Inc: New York, 2000 "When Eliza, Lindsay, and I all finally stood up to walk to the ambulance to get bandaged up, the crowd stood and gave us a standing O. Inherit the Wind - Character Development of Matthew and Sarah Brady Films with intense legal themes generally present very dry, professional characters with occasional moments of character development. In the film Inherit the Wind, the head legal counsel for the prosecution, Matthew Harrison Brady, first appears as a dynamic man of the people. He and his wife, Sarah, seem to be a perfect couple in the spotlight of American politics. Both characters wear broad smiles, walk tall and
Comparing Little House on the Prairie, written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Sarah Plain and Tall, Written by Patricia MacLachlan Little House on the Prairie, written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, bears some resemblance to Sarah Plain and Tall, written by Patricia MacLachlan. Within both of the texts one can find two families that are adjusting to life out on the Prairie. Even though the books are written some fifty years apart they still portray the aspects of living on the prairies in the Midwest
The Views Against Sarah Palin As I vigilantly watched the ad called “Brutal: Sarah Palin’s Record on Aerial Wolf Hunting”, I seen so much alienation against her. By the end of the video, my attention was so far off of the idea of Sarah Palin being elected vice president, but only on the thought of why a person would support this kind of cruelty. The ad did accomplished one thing, which was to convince the audience that Sarah Palin is a bad person, and why citizens should not vote for her. While
The Contributions of Frederick Douglas, William Apess, Sarah Margaret Fuller, and Sojourner Truth As has been noted before, when we look at the authors of The Declaration of Independence, we are quite aware that the 'document' was written in the interest of the people who were there. The wealthy, white, landowners make up the Constitution to fit their needs and exclude everyone else. The people most notably left without rights are African American's, Native American's and Women. These minority
