Introduction Titles sequence that are usually known as opening credit sequence are included in the titles category, which are written matter inserted into a film for introductory or explanatory to their title, cast member, key production or both. Credit titles were often introduced well after the beginning of the film to allow the plot and the action to seize the attention of the viewer in a segment known as a teaser. For the earliest movies, the opening credit sequence was meant to display the names of the film and the filmmaker. The purpose was to communicate this information efficiently. As legal obligations started to become an issue, the opening credit sequence evolved to give credit to not just the filmmaker, but also the actors and the rest of the crew. This study is to develop an understanding on the approaches to the television / film opening credits sequence and deliver a remake of short opening credits sequence on a selected television series / film. In order to better define the success of an opening credit sequence, one has to look at the purpose of the credits first. Only then one can move on to evaluate whether these purposes are valid and whether the credits have reached these goals. After all, when judging the success of a movie one can use many different criteria, ranging from economic to artistic goals, and define success in relative terms. Similar criteria should apply to the credit sequence as well. Idea and approach This study will be making a title sequence built around images and motion graphic, to deliver the most sophisticated effect. Many contemporary movies rely on animation in their titling. The opening credit sequences of Spider-man (2002), Spider-man 2 (2004) and Sin City (2005) are some examples f... ... middle of paper ... ...tive using selected highlights from the comic, all the while staying in sync with the music selection. The sequence needed to transition between survivors and zombies while showcasing classic staples of the genre. Conclusions The film industry has taken about fifty years to realize the importance of the opening credit sequence and see that graphic art can be its helper in this area. Today the medium of the integrated film image with the title design as its centrepiece is an accepted part of graphic art and an important form of activity for leading graphic artists. Film title sequences have come to rival commercials and music videos as the leading indicator of contemporary visual style in motion graphics. With the advent of successful opening credit sequences, attention has been directed to this newly found form of art that has long been considered an afterthought.

Before speaking in full detail of the personal fondness that was acquired and progressed thought the series and the graphic details of it, it is important to address the technology that has made the motion picture possible. Computer Generated Imagery is defined as the “application of computer graphics to create or contribute to images in art, printed media, video games, films, television programs, commercials, and simulators”. In simpler terms computer generated imagery is used in different works of art to create another world through the click of a mouse. Computer generated Imagery is commonly referred to as CGI when using three dimensional computer graphics to create special effects in films and television. Anyone from a professio...

It is very important how you put things up on the screen. It tells the viewer what the movie is about. Every single frame in a movie tells the fate of the characters.

Computer generated imagery has evolved and spread throughout cinematography and the film world like wildfire. Although computer generated imagery offers countless creative opportunities, the art form of special effects makeup should be practiced and preserved, as just that- an art form. Most people have begun to describe special effects makeup as anachronistic. Considering how long special effects makeup has been around, people are convinced that its existence is coming to an end.

Many people don’t think about it so much, but movies (or just film in general) have become such a big part of our lives that we don’t think much of it because it just feels like a usual part of living. But have you ever wondered why this is, and how far back film started? Movies and film have been around for a long time, have developed in big ways throughout time, and has advanced in such a big and new way to this day.
Offering the unique ability to visually and audibly convey a story, films remain a cornerstone in modern society. Combined with a viewer’s desire to escape the everyday parameters of life, and the excitement of enthralling themselves deep into another world, many people enjoy what films stand to offer. With the rising popularity of films across the world, the amount of film makers increases every day. Many technological innovations mark the advancement of film making, but the essential process remains the same. Pre-production accounts for everything taken place before any shooting occurs, followed by the actual production of the film, post-production will then consist of piecing the film together, and finally the film must reach an audience. Each step of this process contributes to the final product, and does so in a unique right. The process of film making will now start chronologically, stemming from the idea of the story, producing that story into a film, editing that footage together, and finally delivering that story to its viewers.
The Role of Computer Generated Imagery in the Film Industry Computer Generated Imagery is the special effects used in motion pictures to create a visual depiction of an illusion that can not be easily created in real life. Directors of major motion pictures have been using these technologies since the early days of the personal computer. Early on, when and special effects were in their beginning stages, it was difficult to make efficient and effective effects that are well accepted by the movie critics and the general public. An evolution of special effects and the introduction of computerized animation brought the standards for movie effects to a higher level. The development of new methods of Computer Generated Imagery for less money and more effective than in the past has allowed even fairly low budget movies to incorporate such technology.
