My Personal Philosophy Of Learning

Individuals have their own philosophy of learning not everyone is going to have the same philosophy of learning. The method that attracts to me is creativity activities letting my brain process the martial. In order for myself to learn a subject I must transfer the information into a creative way which improves the way I learn the martial. I have been making my negative situations into positive situation, so that allows myself to think positive in learning martial that I would have thought it was pointless. Learning how I can use the material in my life supports me to acquire the knowledge. Also, having instructors that go beyond lectures benefits my brain restrain the information I learned in class. Instructors that let students move around and talk to other classmates, which assistances others students for the reason that students can explain the subjected well than the instructor. According to Bell Brooks her teacher Thich Nhat Hanh stated “Pedagogy which emphasized wholeness, a union of the mind, body, and sprit” (p.14). Allowing those combinations to interact with ones learning process can be beneficial when leaning. Learning has to come from self-motivation which comes from the mind, and body, when those two don’t combined with learning anything that has been learned won’t be retained only memorized. Without self-motivation I would not get anything done, and I would not be successful in my classes.
There are two methods of learning that I have focused this semester. The first method, which my instructors and I have been using in my college education is the method that Stanly Fish agrees with. In the course we focused on criminal justice, and I learned material that has carried to my college education, also I have learned information that is going to assistance me reach my end goal to become a federal bureau agent. Now that I am in college I do not used the technique I used in high school. In my classes the professors have the power of the lecture, and it does not benefit me, because I do not pay attention while lessoning to the professor, and doesn’t assistance me retain the information they present to me. Now that I have learned what is my learning method it is going to benefit me when learning in the class. Also, I have the courage to speak with the instructor, and ask for assist in the class if I cannot understand the subjected which one-on-one can be helpful for us to interact.
