Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York during the 60’s. He is one of the most respected NBA players. He joined the NBA as a Junior in college but ended up finishing his degree as a geographic Major and continued playing basketball. As we all know he was a very talented player during his time “In 1985, he finished his bachelor 's degree in geography and continued to play basketball professionally. While his second season was marred by injury, Jordan was breaking new ground on the court during the 1986-1987 season. He admitted that the racial obstacles he faced a child helped him become a strong and competitive player knowing that he will face much more racism to come. They know there is power in talent in what most people have hard time doing. They want to proof themselves to society cause till now society puts them down. We living in 2016 on freedom land where politician preach about equality in the Middle East, about democracy in Korea, about education in Africa, and about sexism in Saudi Arabia but yet we have hard time keeping an African American male alive passed the age of 25. A police officer shooting an unarmed black male because he fet threatened and we wonder why we have angry people fighting for black lives matter. Ask any black person why you are successful and i guarantee you it will have to do with proving himself to society not believing in them just for a color. We improved as a country. Yeah, we don’t called someone a Negro but when we see a successful black woman owning a company and having a college degree we wonder how, but if we see a white woman with a degree and cape may we will appreciate it not wonder how she got the money or what she had to lose for it. When we see a rich black male we won 't ask if he is a drug dealer, because know for a fact when we see a rich white person the thought doesn’t come to mind.
