Interviewing is the main aspect of getting a job. Interviews are simple communication devices used to feel out the potential prospect. As I read through the article, important information grabbed my attention immediately. The basic of them all is preparing. Things that goes behind preparing for an interview is practicing in the comfort of your home questions, appearance, and research on the company you with t work for.
Be sure to have a good resume. Always print multiple copies of your resume, use better quality paper, prepare a portfolio and present your portfolio. Instead of handing in your resume, present it to them in the beginning and inform them with recommendation and your achievements. Always drees you’re best if you are interviewing for a job. It is better for women and men both to dress in a simple black or blue dress suit or knee length skirt and blouse. Being aware of the body is key because we don’t nee any wardrobe malfunctions now. Basic colors like navy, and even greys can make a big statement when wore with the right accessories.
Some mistake people make which cause them to lose jobs at the interview stage would be by talking about retirement and such things that make it seem like they are just there. Another way to lose a job is your body language. Knowing the importance of body language is vital because seven percent of your communication is verbal, while everything else is ninety-three percent non-verbal. Therefore, ninety-three percent is your posture, your tone, and body language.
It is important to sell yourself to the company and research and understand why they might need you on their team to make the company a banger. Another reason some people lose interviews would be that they fail to follow up with question about the company. For example; what are some things I need to do to be really successful at this job? Or what are some of the key skills you are specifically looking for?
