In the United States, many would believe that health care is a right. These citizens believe that everyone should have access to health care and that everyone should have an equal opportunity to get the care they need for themselves and their family. Within many documents that our country is shaped around there is statements to support that health care should be a right for everyone. Many people would go back to the Declaration of Independence to say that they have the right to health care. In the Declaration of Independence it states that all men have inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (http://www.archives.gov. ) The inalienable right to life gives people the right to health care. It gives people the right to health care because citizens in the United States have the right to seek medical attention when they are in need of medical help. People who are in need or want immunizations to protect the body from an infection or disease have the right to go to the medical provider in their local area and seek medical attention. The inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness gives people the right to health care. It gives people the right to health care because people in the United States have the right to live a fulfilling life. In 2005 the united states and members of the World Health Organization are also known as WHO signed the World Health Assembly resolution 58.33 (http://apps.who.int).In this Assembly it states that health care providers have to ensure that they have a financial system to help the patients get the health care they need.
