I chose the character Uncle Willie from the book Maya Angelou. The reason why I chose this character was that he was one of those people that are really nice but always changed in order to fit in. In the book he was the uncle of Maya Angelou, when he was a child he became crippled. He had a stutter in his voice and he always leaned forward. When he sat his back made a, “Z” shape.
Another character is Uri, he is the boy that discovered Misha in the beginning. He is the leader of the boys, he is very street-smart. “Stupid. Stupid. They take everything, just to take it.” (Spinelli 13)

y character of choice is one that is close to my heart. He is ridiculously smart, a little eccentric, okay, he is very eccentric, but that is what makes him lovable and unlikeable at times. I have read every book and watched every show. He is not the most relatable; however, his condition is understandable. My character of choice is Mr. Adrian Monk. He is a San Francisco Detective who has many phobias. His wife was murdered causing him to become a near hermit if not for his talent for observation that forces him into work. His one friend, the Captain of the police force, depends on him. It is his phobias that give him an almost supernatural vision that many others lack due to the absence of the phobias and his obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The SWOT analysis is a useful tool for identifying our personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to our plans and goals. According to a “Fuel My Motivation” article (2010), this analysis considers internal influences that can positively or negatively affect our ability to achieve our goals. The internal factors are our strengths and weaknesses. Also considered are opportunities and threats, which are external influences that can have a positive or negative impact on the ability to achieve our goals. I will share how the self-assessment instruments and self-exercises in this course have contributed to assessing and understanding my strengths and weaknesses. I will also discuss techniques I will use to leverage my strengths and understand my weaknesses. In addition, I will consider opportunities that I can take advantage of and the threats that can possibly impede my progress.
