Not specifying what type of ticket that was in my hand, I wouldn't want it to be a plane ticket rather the winning lottery ticket so me and my family would be set for life. One plane ticket would just be enjoyable for a short time, but a winning lottery the winning lottery you can do plenty. My first adventure would of course be with my family. Where would we go you might wonder? Vietnam, in my whole life I've only been there twice. Going there would be a gift to my mom, I know she misses her family more than she'll ever admit. Always wanting to go back to visit her family, but money was always the issue. It sucks to be so far from your family and with such a huge difference in time zones it's just a lot for her. My mom always said that buying the ticket is just one part, but not having anything to give if she gets there is another. Vietnam isn't a first choice for most people, but it is to me it's family and culture. With the money that I have I'll give a portion of it to my family there, taking care of them as well. Knowing that they have it a lot rougher than us, the money will help more than I'll know. My family and I would spend quite some time just enjoying what Vietnam has to offer. Not worry about cost would be a huge difference in the way we'd do things. My mom would be able to stop working and spend more time with us. A reflection of ourselves is what we see when looking through the pond of Jackson's mind. The Lottery clearly expressed Jackson's feelings concerning traditional rituals through her story, opened the eyes of its readers to properly classify and question some of today's traditions as cruel, and allowed room to foretell the outcome of these unusual traditions.
