Do you consider yourself an outsider? Or do you consider yourself as a normal person? Outsiders are very important because they have different views on different things, they invent different thing, and if they didn’t exist than the world would be boring. Outsiders are crucial to our world. Outsiders have different views on different things. For instance, one outsider would be Rosa Parks. She wasn’t like all the other African Americans who were being discriminated in 1955. She stood up for herself when a white man told her that she needed to move from her seat on the bus. That was her thinking like an outsider. Others may say that an outsider's view and thoughts can also be violent and dangerous. Like the example of Adolf Hitler. His ideas ended up killing around 6 million Jews, but people who didn’t agree with his thoughts can also be considered outsiders. People like Benjamin Franklin who invented the lighting rod, and like Edward Nairne who invented the eraser. To illustrate, Benjamin Franklin would be considered an outsider because unlike most people, he use to have air baths. Before rubber eraser were invented people would use bread crumbs. Edward Nairne used rubber instead and that was weird to everyone at that time. Some people may say that normal people have invented many different things. One example is the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs. Everyone typically views him as a normal person. Normal may have invented many different things, but if it wasn’t for the outsiders then we wouldn’t have some of the inventions we have
