One of my dreams is to someday be able to play in NBA. Ever since I started liking basketball it has been a dream of mine. I probably can make it if I put enough work in, it’ll be really hard, though. I’m pretty short, so getting in will be harder, but it’s still a possibility. Why did I tell you about this? Well, NBA players make a lot of money. A whole lot of it. They live in big houses, wear expensive clothes, buy foreign cars, and give a lot of service to communities. That last part is really important. These players do a lot to help kids in bad situations and try to spark positive change. One example is Lebron James. Even though I’ve hated him as a player, (mainly for always eliminating my favorite team from the playoffs) I can’t deny the great things he does. He gives out scholarships to kids in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Scholarships. Scholarships can be hard to get, and getting through college without one will result pretty badly. And that’s exactly what I’ll do, so I’ll be the change by going to college. It’s been something that my parents have always told me to do. They have always said that it’s best going to college. With them always saying that, it has really made me want to go to college. Some kids don’t have their parents pressuring them to do the same, so I want to be that voice. College is important, and it’s important that kids know why it’s their best option. Like I said before, I want to give them scholarships too. Making kids go to college isn’t enough for me, I want it to not cost them a thing. College is really expensive, and giving them the opportunity to go for free would not only make it easier for them at the moment, but better in the long run too. I’ve heard plenty about how people never really recover from paying student loans and how they’re in debt for the rest of their lives. I don’t want that for myself or the
