In the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird written by Harper Lee, Scout Finch believes everything she hears, so her memories could be wrong based on how she perceived everything as a child, making the reader think harder and deeper about situations. Scout narrates the entire story, giving us her opinions, interactions with people and explaining everything she believes. She is also only six years old, therefore most of her opinions and the way she perceives things could be completely wrong. This concept of writing makes the reader think of the actual reality in things instead of just being told.
