My author is Theodor Seuss Geisel he was an American writer and illustrator best known for his authoring popular children’s books. He is most known as Dr. Seuss, he wrote several of the most popular children’s books of all time. Dr. Seuss did a lot to become as good of a writer as he was he went to some colleges and worked hard to have the education he needed to become a writer. He was born March 2, 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. In Dr. Seuss’s early life around the age of 18 he went off on his own and started to do a lot more for his self by himself like someone his age should. Seuss wrote many books and they include Green eggs and ham and this book sold over 5,000 copies he also wrote One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish in the year 1960 which sold 409,068 copies which out sold most of the books he wrote at this time. Dr. Seuss was proud of all the work he had done and all the money he is getting but he loves writing children books for the little ones. Dr. Seuss has some amazing books and he is one of the best known children authors in America. Many of Theodor’s books express his views on varieties of social and political issues even though Dr. Seuss made a point of not beginning the writing of his stories with a moral mind. After Helen died Theodor was getting married with a new woman named Audrey and they have been seeing each other for a long time. The crazy thing is that Theodor was having an affair with Audrey while his wife Helen was ill and not feeling well. But after she died he married her for many years but eventually they got a divorce and Theodor was many years older than his new wife Audrey. Theodor never had kids of his own but he had step children that he treated very well because kids is all he ever wanted. Soon after the happy life with Audrey Theodor died and life as she knew it was over for her. The love of her life had died and her and her children were alone again but before he died he made sure the kids knew that he loved then very
