In “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury, Lydia’s character is astonished by everything that the Happylife Home is capable of. As the story progresses, she begins to resent the technology for replacing her role as a mother. The psychologist, David Mclean, has a different perspective on the Happylife Home.
