You can easily identify the struggle between “old money” and “new money” while Nick, the main character, observes and learns when he decides to take an adventure with moving across the country, West to East, New York City. The big N.Y.C. turns to be quite an unexpected journey Nick experiences during “The Roaring Twenties”. From parties, affairs, abuse, and murder the wealthy’s unrecognized reality suddenly is clear through portraying their way with thoughtless actions combined with a now and never decision making habit.
