“Tuesday of the Other June” by Norma Fox Mazer is a fictional short story about a girl who struggles with being bullied and how to stick up for herself. In the beginning, June joins swim class where she faces her bully, who happens to have the same name. Soon, the bullying escalates but June is happy to know she will be moving. In the end, she has to go to school with her bully but ends up sticking up for herself and telling her to stop. June learned a lesson of how to stick up for herself and deal with bullies. In the beginning, June was afraid to stick up for herself. She was being punched and kicked but did nothing and told no one.
