1. What are three EC positions you would be interested in holding, in order of preference? -Three positions I would be interested in holding are Ritual Chairman, Secretary and Panhellenic Delegate. 2. Name some ideas you have regarding the above positions, including any changes you would like to make. Ritual: I am interested in holding the Ritual Chairman position due to the fact that the history of ZTA is why we are all here today, and so I feel that we should have an extreme appreciation for ritual and the creed. Along with this, every chapter performs the same rituals, and they have changed very little since they were originally created. I think it is really awesome to have something so special connecting every sister of ZTA. Some ideas …show more content…
I believe that I am trustworthy and dependable, and if I take on a position I will strive to be the absolute best I can be. I am currently a junior, and so I do not have as much time left as other girls in the chapter to hold a position and really make an impact. If I were to hold a position for this upcoming year, it would be the spring semester of my junior year and the fall semester of my senior year, and I truly feel that is a time where I would be able to completely dedicate myself to whatever position I have the opportunity to hold. At this point in my education, I have already learned to balance my schoolwork with my extracurricular activities, and I have proved that I am responsible and dependable through the PC position that I held this semester. In the middle of this semester, the job description of my PC position actually changed and so I felt as if I did not get to be as involved and hands-on as I really wanted to. By holding a position on EC, I would be able to stay involved and work with the other leaders of our chapter to make Kappa Xi the best it can be. Overall, I feel that I possess the skills necessary to hold a position on EC and be a positive asset to the
I believe the biggest skill that I possess that will maintain Alpha Kappa Alpha’s status is the desire to help. As a sorority that holds service at a high standard, I believe having that drive to help in
This is because I am coming from a general place of respect for the people I work with as opposed to letting the position get to my head. The greatest challenge as a team leader will be having an answer for all of the questions that scarlet ambassadors will have, but at the end of the day no one can know the answer to everything and I have to accept that and ask for help from either any of the people in the office or a fellow team
paperwork, and provide me with an in-depth overview of what the six sessions would consist of;
The purpose of this letter is to inform you about my interest in becoming a member of The Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I sought out membership because the members exemplify the epitome of class, grace, and standards. My desire is to inspire young girls and women and make a significant impact on their lives is just one of many reasons I aspire to join your great sorority. I believe in being of service, giving back to the community, and I want to continue on for years to come. Going into the transition into my college career from my freshman year until now, I have encountered many women in the organization that are very active on campus as well as in the community. My past experiences with my past and previous organizations have proved that once my feet are planted my roots will grow and I will stand firm in an organization or committee that I am apart of exemplifying my leadership skills. I am a dedicated member of the National Council of Negro Women. I am on the Bethune Committee, we focus on creating Health programs for the organization and the community. I am a Mentor with the Valdosta community organization G.O.L.F.E.R. (Generating Opportunities in Life for Each
Throughout everyday tasks in the classroom, or outside of school, I step up and lead those who need to be led. I constantly find new opportunities to lead others and help the situation any way I can. Every summer the band has a marching band camp for a week straight that we must all attend. Being an experienced band member, I step up and assist all underclassmen and show then where to go and what they need to be doing. Instead of getting frustrated when giving the freshman directions, I am calm and collect and walk them step by step until they understand, something most leaders would not have time or patience for. With many plans to help others and lead within my community, I believe that I have what it takes to be a strong, and powerful leader for the National Honor Society.
I felt that the Student Leadership Council was an organization that I would be proud to be associated with. I unde...
My academic performance excels my grade level. I enjoyed past experiences with speaking in front of others by participating in student council at Brookside Elementary in the 4th and 5th grades. I have had experience updating other students about things that are happening around campus. I will always be on time for our meetings and go to every one. I will always remember to bring my best ideas so that ASB can be a thing others will enjoy. I am a responsible, organized person that likes to contribute my ideas. Some things that I can bring to ASB are a positive outlook on ideas, creative and fun ideas, motivation, quality, leadership and hard work. To be in ASB, I know that you need to respect others and have good communication with my peers. I believe I excel in these two categories, and I will put forth my best effort to make MCMS a better school. I can contribute positive character traits as well as being an example to others. I would be very excited if I could be part of ASB next
In my sorority for example, there are a lot of positions that can be held. I currently hold two positions. I have learned that with these positions comes a lot of responsibilities. As a position holder, you are expected to be a leader in whatever "department" your position belongs to. From the minute I took my position, I held the power to make decisions for the organization. Those who hold positions in sororities or fraternities earn a great deal of leadership experience. Leadership experience that can be used throughout one's life.
2. If I am chosen to be a member, my intentions to make the organization better are holding fundraisers to help those in need and volunteering my time. I think that I can bring fresh, new ideas for charitable work.
Being nominated for National Junior Honor Society is a highly prestigious honor, and I am very grateful to be a candidate. To be a member of this prestigious organization means so much to me just to be invited to be one of its members. Leadership is a great skill to have. So, by being a member of this group I would be showing leadership. I am also a hard worker and a great role model who always helps others. I am confident in my leadership qualities and want to help the community. I plan to demonstrate leadership, create enthusiasm, and develop character for academic excellence while participating in NJHS. Whenever I set a goal, I am certain to achieve it. With my outstanding personality and traits, I plan to be useful to NJHS and my school.
I believe I have demonstrated the qualities to be a member of the National Honor Society because I want to be able to show people that I am a good citizen, leader and that I have a good judge of character. I am in key club because I have always liked to help around the community, but never got too many chances, with key club I get a lot of opportunities and I love it. I have also worked at the Hocking Hills Diner for the past two years. While working, I do not only run the cash register and seat people but I also make sure things run smoothly. I make sure my servers are doing what they need to and that all the customers are happy. If something is wrong, it is my job to fix it. Being a leader has taught me how to work as a team and make things
You will be put into this eminent position only if the officials of your Institution trust you to be a great promoter of the Institution and if they think that, you are capable enough. You are also well regarded by your supervisors, faculties, other students, and their parents. They trust you to be their proficient guide throughout the campus life. You will be the person called in to solve problems among the student community, to organize events such as graduation day, guest invites, etc.
What experiences have you had which prepare you for this position (e.g perhaps as an employee, leader, or working with people different from yourself, etc)?
The top management executives that are selecting future candidates for promotions are visiting each branch and doing an investigation to see who may be suited for a promotion for the San Antonio office. Some of the ways they are looking for future candidates is interviewing other coworkers and seeing how their relationships and work ethics are. The four candidates
