The theme of Zombie Chasers is basically they had to stay together to get survive the attack of the zombies. One reason why I thought this was the theme was because if they didn’t get advice from Madison they would have turned into zombies. Another example they had to stay together is when they had to go to a mart to get Ginkgo Biloba but the door was closed so Rice said to get in by the little window. The last example is when Madison’s dog was kidnapped by a Zombie (Zoe), Zack knocked him out and saved the puppy. This is the Theme of the book of Zombie Chaser.
The first plot of the story is when Zoe, Madison, and some other friends made Zack do makeup on him and locked him up but escaped. The second plot is when Zack see’s Madison and there
The theme in a story is a message or lesson that the author wants the reader to take away when reading the story. These themes can teach the reader lessons, get points across or help them understand the book better. All Quiet On The Western Front displays the themes: the horrors and destruction of war and the effects on soldiers, sacrifice, loss of innocence, and friendship.
The universal themes that are used in the story are racism and better the young.”And mothers and fathers, if it is too late for you, think of your children. Make it safe so they don't have to run away, for I want for you and your children what I had.”( Baker, 83) These themes are universal because both talk about things that has happened multiple times. Like better the young. We want the young to be the greatest generation and not make the mistakes we had made. The children of each generation need to be better than the last generations. The other theme racism. Racism was back then and it is now. The theme talks about the racism in the past and in the present and in the future. Racism will be the theme for lots of things in the present but also

She no longer feels like an outsider. She not only gained friends, but a family. Walking home to school, she sees Zayn approaching her. Ever since becoming a part of the gang, Violet and Zayn have become inseparable. Violet similes at him, he does so in return. “Hey, Deven told me that we are expected to sell some drugs after school”, he said. “Fine by me.” Violet replied. Violet knew that with joining the gang she would have to do some things that were illegal, but over the years she learned how to accomplish the orders without getting caught. After school, Zayn and Violet went to their hideout (an abandoned house) to collect the drugs. Once collected, they went straight to the neighborhood that always seems to want something from them. On the verge of giving some drugs to a crackhead, someone shouted, “Hey!”. Violet turns around to see two cops running towards them. Filling with panic, Violet turns to Zayn to see him reach for her arm and pulling her into a run. “Come back here!” yelled one of the
The novel ‘After the First Death’ written by Robert Cormier utilise character construction to explore the issue of relationship dilemma and betrayal. The issue of relationship dilemma is presented through the detached and estrange father and son relationship between a teenager, Ben and his reticent father, General Mark Marchland. The issue is also displayed through Artkin, the impassive terrorist leader and his apprentice, Miro, where their relationship lacks mutual trust. Cormier explores the issue of betrayal through General Mark’s betrayal to Ben and Miro who betrayed Artkin by failing to save him. Through the use of characters, the author conveys the message that an impractical relationship with the absence of mutual trust can be the central
According to author Kyle Bishop, we are living in what he is calling the zombie renaissance, essentially, it is the reinvigoration of the genre that for many years became non existent. Since 9/11 movies and shows featuring the genre have spark interest in the pop culture community. Using the genre’s features and aesthetics these new films and shows have formed a connection between our society’s greatest fears and anxieties such as reality about our deaths, infectious diseases, natural disasters, and war. These types of images continue to become a more common aspect of our daily lives and essentially is dominating the horror genre.

In the Christmas Hunt by Borden Deal, I believe the theme is “Greed clouds better judgement”. I believe that is true to this book closer to the ending. Tom’s father said Tom was only ten and that he was far too young. Tom had visions of him being the best shot but in reality couldn't shoot anything but he's father’s main hunting dog, Calypso Baby. Tom’s dreams of being “the best shot” blinded him from reality. After he accidentally shot the dog he told his father he didn't deserve the bike he had wanted that year. Tom’s father agreed and had said “this is your own punishment for yourself”. The next day his father had bought him a puppy, one of Calypso Baby’s babies. Tom's father promised that he'd help Tom with his shooting but Tom would have
Kurt Vonnegut’s famous anti-war novel is written during World War II. It is focused around the firebombing of Dresden; the capital of the eastern German state of Saxony. According to History.com Allied forces bombed the city of Dresden killing between 35,000 and 135,000. As you can imagine this was a very gruesome time period which sets the mood of the novel. In the novel, Vonnegut does not refer to the class differences in society instead he refers more about the inequality of power and control and to do so he uses the soldiers being just children getting sent to war to fight and die without any say or control. Vonnegut uses many symbols and even creates a character, Billy Pilgrim to show the negative effects of war on a child.

The theme of this book is teamwork. I say this because there are a lot of family situations that aren’t always the greatest. Another theme is suffering/saroh. The suffering part is from lack of food. They also have to deal with deaths and separation of family and not knowing where they are. They also don’t know if their family is okay or not. The saroh is from other people's deaths and watching their town and city die out.
I Call It Murder is a documentary about the troubling truth of Chicago’s Cook County Hospital-now closed. The main theme of the movie is how unjust the healthcare system is towards the very same people it was designed to help. It highlights just how difficult it is for uninsured and/or poor patients to get the needed and deserved quality care. The documentary also exposed the sickening reality of health disparity and how factors like low socio economic status can quite literally be the cause of death in some cases.
The concept of a zombie apocalypse has been popular in pop culture for a few decades now. The zombie apocalypse does however bring up a lot of ethical and social hierarchy issues on what is most important to survive in the event of an apocalypse. The three most important issues to consider in the event of a zombie apocalypse are individualism or communitarianism, when is a person considered dead, and how to fight back the advance of the zombies.

In every story, there are themes that point out the meaning of the story so it does not leave the reader hanging. So what is a theme? A theme is a fundamental and often universal idea explored in a literary work. In the book, To Kill a Mockingbird, there are three main themes, which commonly appear throughout the story.
