John Hillcoat directed The Road film in 2009. It is a frightening visual adjustment of the novel composed by Connor McCarthy. The movie starts by setting a dark, dull and cold state of mind in a convincingly reasonable post-apocalyptic world. The film revolves around the journey of a little family’s survival. The only main comfort to be found in the dark setting of the scene is the loving bond that exists amongst father and son. " All I know is the child is my warrant, and if he is not the word of God, then God never spoke" This clearly defines the love and affection father had for his son and his ability to effectively keep his son alive. The characters incognito creates a great suspense in the full film and create the sentiment enthusiasm for the movie. As the time goes by, the father winds up weaker and weaker and tries to make his child capable of surviving and ensuring himself and for that he gives him the pistol in some weak circumstances to utilize, saying that his father might no longer be alive to save him. Everyone learns a lot from their dad, I myself have taken in a lot many things from my dad and I still remember that he used to make something's harder for me just to make me solid. Moreover, the technical aspect was good too, as the setting was dark, full of fire and smoke, looked actually like the world came to an end, adding to it were the few things the father and son had to use for their survival so overall it was
