Introduction Good morning corporate America. ‘Ruin porn’ has been an ongoing debate over whether it’s a good or a bad thing. Some journalist will state that “ruin porn ignores and overwrites the voices of those who still call Detroit home” (Doucet and Philp) worrying about the people who live in these conditions that don’t receive the help they need. You can’t ask a flower artist to paint the bees because you’re worried about their extinction. Instead, companies such as cheerio’s and others that involve honey make the fight to prevent the loss of bees along with other corporations. Detroit needs to do the same by not looking at the artist who do not focus on issues of poverty and instead look and the people who
