The Lord Of The Flies: A Short Story

Once upon a time, there were three brothers living together in a small house. Jack, Henry, and Simon.
Every day, Jack wakes up in the morning and prepare the breakfast for him and his brothers before they leave for work.
One day, the three brothers were late for work, and Jack forgot to turn off the stove after he made the breakfast.
When they came back from work, they saw their house is on fire and they weren’t able to put out the fire.
“Oh my god, the house is burning and it’s my fault,” Jack shouted
“ Why it’s your fault?” Henry asked.
“ I forgot to turn off the stove after I prepared the breakfast this morning,” Jack said.
“ Now, we don’t have any place to stay in. what are we supposed to do? Henry said.
“ I saved some money in my bank account, we can use it to fix the house,” Simon said.

The next day, Simon decided to clean up the mess inside the house, he asked Jack.
“ Can you help me clean up the mess inside the house?”
“ No, I’m very tired today and I’m allergic to dust,” Jack said.
Simon asked Henry “ Can you help me clean up the mess inside the house?”
“ No, can’t you see me talking to my friend on the phone?” Henry shouted.
Simon went to the house and cleaned up all the mess by himself.
The next day, Simon went to Home Depot to buy paint and paint the house.
He wondered if his brothers will help him paint the house.
He asked Jack “ can you help me paint the house?”
No, I’m watching America’s got talent now.
He asked Henry “ Can you help me paint the house?”
No, I’ve to go to work now.
Simon ended up painting the house by himself.
The next day, Simon bought some furniture but this time he didn’t ask his brothers because he knows that they won’t help him.
