What is the Master Cleanse Diet?

The master cleanse diet is commonly known as the lemonade diet or the maple syrup diet, sounds quite nice doesn’t it! It is an diet of choice for many, due to it being relatively low in cost and can shed up to 2lbs of fat a day. It does a great job in eliminating toxins from your body, as well as removing cravings for bad foods, alcohol, drugs and tobacco.

The basis of all disease is a build up of toxins within your body. The toxins build up due to bad diet, lack of exercise, negative emotions and stress. Keeping your body clear of bad toxins will help our energy increase and assures good health for many years to come.

You are suppose to drink around 8-12 glasses of this recipe per day, NO OTHER food or drink should be consume during this time or you will not see any results. Do this cleanse for 10 days, but people have been known to do it for 40 days with no harm to their body.

At bed time, it is advise this is when you have the sea salt and/or laxative tea. This will help keep your bowel movements coming along and aid the cleanse. For the sea salt, have around 1 teaspoon of salt to one liter of water. Laxative tea can be found from most supplement stores.

Any responsible adult can par take in the master cleanse, it should be carried out a few times a year to give your body a thorough detox. Especially when you are sick with a cold or flu as this cleanse will get your back on your feet again in no time.
