As Nick ventured home late at night he said, “The whole peninsula was blazing with light...Turning a corner I saw that it was Gatsby’s house, lit from tower to cellar.” Even something as simple as the lighting at Gatsby’s house has been constructed into a powerful and awesome image. Another notable piece of Gatsby’s mansion is the lavish lawn.
