The Genius of Mozart documentary it starts with Mozart’s father, Leopold Mozart, which Wolfgang Mozart had got his passion of music from. They were close with one another and developed a close bond that connected with no only Father and Son but as well as music. His father was not only his father; he was a teacher to Mozart. Mozart’s father said he was a light that was contributed to others, and that he would not belong to just one class. As Wolfgang Mozart grew up, he had to deal with an illness called arthritis. Leopold was close to his son and he knew everything about Mozart from top to bottom. Even things that we still to this day do not know about Mozart. He was a great young composer that transformed into a genius that was able to write music in the short periods of time he had during the day and was able to rewrite the musical rules. After being very successful in his early years, Mozart grew little older and started looking at things in a bigger picture. He tried to fit in on many different things including languages of others. The “Magic Flute” that was written at the end of his short life is known as the ultimate expression of Mozart’s ambition to connect with the human life and the human emotion through music as well as theater. At 25 years old, Mozart is no longer a prodigy but has not proved to be an amateur composer. In Provincial Salzburg is where Mozart is still living with his father and sister. Mozart is going to Munich because they have commissioned him to write an Italian opera in a serious style. Mozart’s father said he gave Wolfgang the advice to never neglect the popular style for the unmusical public as the musical ones. Leopold agreed to be Mozart’s middle man between the poets but he didn’t know that this would be his last detailed involvement in one of Mozart’s projects. Mozart’s father said they worked every day on the poems but Mozart was determined about something totally different than his father. He had problems with everything his father done. His life had already been a journey. His father had died just a year ago and he had lost three children with his wife Constanze. Mozart created music that reflected his life. Constanze felt like it was hard to deal with her problems because she felt pregnant all the time and the stress of money. Mozart was not guaranteed an income. He would borrow money from friends and send letters months after months saying he could not pay them right now and that he was not financially able. Mozart’s father as well as Constanze’s mother did not like them together at all. His father opposed the marriage and said her family was not worthy of Wolfgang. Constanze’s mother tried her hardest to keep the two separated. She went as far as banning her daughter from seeing him. Neither Leopold nor Constanze’s mother attended their wedding. After the marriage, Wolfgang tried to repair the gap that was between him and his father. He sent a letter saying he would come and visit sometime and invited him and his sister to attend his performance of C Minor that was wrote for Constanze. Before Wolfgang and Constanze got married, she was sick with an illness. But Mozart made a promise with god. His promise was that if she got better and married him, he would create a religious piece of music. He did and it became one of the greatest religious works he had ever written.
