Teen Activism Have you ever found something you thought wrong with the world? Have you thought about trying to change said thing. Well today I will tell you about teens who done such and are fighting to have it happen. What is Teen Activism Teen activism is the act of a teenager fighting to stop something he/she thinks is wrong with the world or when they fight for any cause. You might have heard of Malala Yousafzai who is a young pakistani girl who is fighting for the right to education and such for girls all over Pakistan. Malala Yousafzai Malala Yousafzai is a young pakistani girl. When she was little the school she attended was destroyed by the Pakistan government. Joshua Wong has been participating since the age of fifteen and is at the age of twenty-one. He has been arrested once as well as assaulted and deported from malaysia. He still plays a heavy role in the Umbrella Movement and fights for the one country two political system they were promised. Zea Tongeman Zea Tongeman is a girl who was confused about the world of technology but when she realised its true potential she used it for a great cause. She has been trying to produce an app called “Jazzy Recycling” which turns recycling into a game, encouraging people to recycle more and for the world to be a cleaner and greener place. How to be an Activist Well to become an activist you need to look at a problem with your local area. Let’s say perhaps recycling or even stopping unnecessary car usage.
