Drugs are just plane cheating! Furthermore they can kill you! There are terrible side effects associated with performance enhancing drugs. Additionally sports would not be the same if everyone had the same advantage in other words,there would not be any competition. Athletes who use them face dangerous punishments,There are also consequences for using PEDS in sports,because the government made laws to prevent PED usage.Still,some people think that it is good to use drugs.My thoughts are that they should not be used because of all the danger- from dying from to getting arrested. Certainly, one should be aware of hazardous effects. What about the health risks? I think that the health risk is to much for any one to handal. Think about this really distinctly. How do drugs help you? It only shortens your lifespan so you only get glory for about 15 years or less, so why bother! Aren't sports just for fun and not for winning? And then, encouraging people to do drugs is messed up! Especially when kids and new generations are trying to sneak it into their lives and end up on the street with the groups or people they look up to. From an article from 2008, it read “mentioned dozens of baseball players as having used steroids and described their use as widespread." If people stopped advertising it just a bit that could slow down the production of people dying. And kid athletes also try to sneak PED’s in there life also eventually there could be a second depression. Some people say they make money selling them. But It is illegal so why bother. There are other jobs ought there like a teacher government has been complaining that there is to little amount.
