I remember the time when I got my companion for life. Tucker is my dog and I have had him for ten years. That day my dad had suggested going to a Sea Dog’s baseball game. Of course being only 5 at the time I had no objection to this suggestion. We went to the game. When we were going to our seats one of the workers told us that after the game the players would be signing things. I go really excited about this. I had never met or gotten an autograph from a professional athlete before. In the bottom of the third inning one of the players hit a foul ball. As the ball fell it landed right on top of me. I started crying a lot and didn’t calm down until my dad distracted me with some ice cream. The only good thing I thought was I had a baseball to sign. The game ended as we made our way down to the dugout we were informed that there had been a mix up. The player’s aren’t signing anything.

We left the stadium disappointed and headed home. When I got home I marched right into my house. My face still wet with tears ready to whine to my mom. However by that time I had lost all interest with what she was saying. Everything had become soundless because had I already started unlatching the create. All my interest was on the puppy. At first he was a little scared and didn’t want to come out. I repeatedly tried to pull him out which only helped with scaring him even more. I forgot all about my bad day and was so happy to have a puppy. All I wanted to do was play with Tucker constantly. In our house for the rest of the day all you could hear was barking and laughing.
