Recommended: The effect of marijuana on our youth

As a member of parliament for the Conservative party of Canada, I strongly believe in the importance of my citizens’ safety and the country’s wealth. The Conservative party of Canada demonstrates a protective attitude towards the Canadian citizens’ income, safety, health, and drug use. Firstly, an ongoing issue right now is that the Liberal party is trying to add a new tax policy for local businesses. The Liberals are collecting more taxes to fill the debt from their uncontrolled spending. As the Conservatives, we are currently getting Canadian citizens, tax experts, economists, and small business owners to sign up for the petition to protect their income and stop the Liberals from collecting more tax. Thirdly, the doctors in Canada are moving to other countries because of the raising tax by the Liberals. Most doctors in Canada operate as small business owners and do not receive benefits that are afforded to employees in the private sector. These Liberal tax charges will get in the way for our doctors to invest in their own practices. We want to encourage physicians to help more people. By not increasing the tax, the doctors will more likely to stay in Canada and keep providing medical services. Fourthly, the legalization of Marijuana is a raising topic this year, but the we are clearly against it. There are too many public health and safety concerns, and the legalization of marijuana may bring negative influence to children. To explain, marijuana would be hard to control and it may lead increase in tax and more violence due to drug use. By legalizing marijuana, we are setting a role model for children saying that it is alright to take it. Therefore, we, the Conservative party want to prohibit the legalization of Marijuana and invest more money into addiction treatment services and preventing illegal drug
