Lack of patience leads to losing of Hope. Reading Shakespeare is a piece of cake, but interpreting Shakespeare is like making that piece of cake homemade for the first time. With each new ingredient comes a new instruction. When baking this cake we must always remember to never give and to follow instructions. This is because losing hope can cause wasted time. In the play "Romeo and Juliet", we see a pair of star-crossed lovers on a quest to be with one another. Yet these lovers give up very quickly causing their cake to never bake fully.

In this tragedy, we see Romeo lose all sense of empowerment and hope went Rosaline doesn’t like him back because she is "committing to celebesay". Romeo gives a lack of living and shuts himself away.

Romeo kills Tybalt, in an angry and sad state because Tybalt had earlier killed Mercuiccuio. After this occurs Romeo is sentenced to leave. He can still live, this is when Romeo loses hope and is ungrateful. He says, "They are freemen, but I am banished, And sayest thou yet exile is not death? Hadst thou no poison mix, no sharp-groud knife, no sudden mean of death, though never so means, But banished to kill me -- 'Banished'? "(ROM. III .iii. 44-48). The Frair gives Romeo a positive outlook and says that he can always come back to Verona after time has passed, yet Romeo loses all hope which leads to being banished.

Romeo loses hope about being basinshed and instead of listening to the friar and listening to all of his options. We further learn that if Romeo hadn't left it wouldn’t have caused such a great calamity between him and Juliet. As teenagers we tend to lose patience very quickly, this causes us to not think through all our options and makes us lose hope. With a lack of patience comes a sense of mistaken and forgotten.
