The balcony scene in Act 2 Scene 2 has a message that Shakespeare wants us to understand about what decisions the people that fall in love take. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare in the 1300’s. In Act 2 Scene 2, Romeo is under the balcony where Juliet is standing, and Juliet notices him, therefore they start discussing about their love life. When people fall in love they think about each other, they don’t think about life decisions, then they go insane about each other, and they think that people might hate them for their decisions. At the beginning of this scene, Juliet is talking about how being with Romeo is bad because he’s part of the Montague family,”Tis but thy name that is my enemy.Thou art thyself,though
