Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold- Ice Cold

A bright blonde bob approaches from a distance. On closer inspection the greasy hair hangs, split ends reaching out like sharp spikes. Her eyes dart endlessly in the gloomy light. Her fat figure bulges out of her tremendously tight dress. She drifts gracelessly forward as her evil intentions become clear and as vivid as glass. Powerfully the moon shines reflecting a pale glow on the newly fallen snow. Yellow diamonds hang in the sky, sparkling brightly as if they knew what was about to happen. Watching her, the adrenaline pumps through my body warming it as the intense gleam of her ice-cold eyes deepens. Presently, the wide sheer of snow elongates like a crystal blanket, as the three of them finally arrive- Holly Adams and her assassins. Standing tall holly’s hunched muscular physical structure leans outward slightly. Despite her firm stance the ground shakes with her weight: the icicles fall from the trees; the frozen pond nearby splits. Suddenly the air explodes with a purple stream of angry words. Unexpectedly they start gushing like a waterfall; each utter pounding me like thousands of globules as she speaks. Raising her hand she orders the two men beside her to send my father to his grave. They follow her instructions obediently like dogs fetching their master’s stick. Pitiful in his weakness, my father’s small spherical helpless body is no match for their strength. Sobbing I cry “daddy, I love you” after him as he hangs his head. I can feel his odium that he has let me down. There is no fear in his dejected frame, only pain and dishonour. Behind him Holly Adams’ voice continues to fill the chilly air, only coming to a halt when she threatens me. With convincing authority she snarls a sharp “you got it?” my way. Half listen... ... middle of paper ... ...n she announces her choice. As directed I meet Holly Adams at three sharp. Finally, she instructs me to retrieve the glass of iced water she usually has before a performance. When I prepare it I place a generous amount of the 'assorted' powder into the water where each one fizzes relentlessly, squeezing all the oxygen as of bubbles. Greedily she drinks the whole glass in single gulp and smiles. Confidently she strides out onto the stage with an authoritative smile. Behind her the director shouts 'lights, camera, and action.' Holly Adams steps into the limelight. ‘Romeo, oh Romeo, where art thou …’ as she falls her pale face deepens in colour as she sinks to the ground. I watch her lie lifeless on the movie set I attempt to hide my contempt. It is awfully pleasing to see her die a slow and painful death. ‘Cut’ the director screeches in horror. ‘Holly Adams is dead!’
