Imagine all the people you’ve lost, all the people you spent months mourning and grieving over in a river of tears. What if we could bring them back? Soon enough, death will be inferior to us as we’ve been its slave for centuries. Science has made bringing back the dead possible no matter the consequences or drawbacks. We should not bring people back, from the dead because we don’t know what could happen, overpopulation, and it could disturb the grieving process and other factors of human development. Resurrection is extremely dangerous, especially since we don’t fully understand the consequences. If we bring someone that was deceased, they may come back lacking the ability to communicate. As of 2016, the world consists of about 7.442 billion people in the world and about 323.1 million of those people live in the United States. We are already running out of space for people to live and adding the dead will only create a further problem. Another part of this is that the UNICEF estimates that an average of 353,000 babies are born each day around the world. Clearly, there is already a lack of space for these children to grow up. Furthermore, if people will not be dying, we may have to kill some so that we can make room for more. We may even have to dispose of unborn children. Some may say it is helpful to see your loved ones again and never have to truly say goodbye. This naive belief will cause you to be fragile and frail in the real world. Basic hardships will internally destroy you and set you even further back if strength and toleration are not developed. Others may argue that a decrease in death will make the world a better place, but death is a valuable component that makes life mean something. Similarly, a common argument is that humans will live longer. In contrast, their time has come, and after a long time, their life will lose its meaning and remembrance.
