Respect is a very powerful word it can be given and also taken. So many people really don’t know the definition because they don’t have any for their self. Maybe because they were never taught the word or the meaning. There are rules and meanings to the word Respect. Give it when it is due if someone you know worked hard and never gave up and was committed to their job. By never being late always did their work without their boss telling them or even just doing extra work or maybe at times staying late. You would respect that person for their accomplishments. In fact, giving someone respect seems similar to valuing them and their thoughts, feelings. It also seems to include acknowledging them, listening to them, being truthful with them, and accepting their individuality. And behaviour plays a big part in the word respect and it can also be felt. We can act in ways which are considered respectful, yet we can also feel respect for someone and feel respected by someone.
