I’m just going to jump into my actual post since introductions are for pussies:

Right now, if you were to turn on the news, you would very likely see some sort of report on resource depletion.

Whether it be discussion of the oilpocalypse, water wars, or our soon-to-be-met date with Earth’s carrying capacity, people everywhere are worried about running out of things. This fear is so pervasive partly because it taps into the human hoarding instinct, and now that our treasures are vanishing, we are panicking on a base biological level.

But what if I were to tell you there is a solution to most if not all of these issues?

Of all the crimes committed in 1950s America, there is one that is above and beyond all others in terms of cruelty. But our fate is not yet sealed. We still have a chance to utilize what is arguably our greatest untapped natural resource.

It is only common sense to assume that a more efficient machine is beneficial. Its output is increased (or faster, depending on how you look at it), less energy is required to run it, and the life of the machine itself is longer. And what is the best way to increase the efficiency of a machine?
