Reflection on the work I’ve done in this course and what I’ve learned Very few courses we do in our life impacts us deeply, and ever fewer amongst them brings about a change in the way we think, react and respond to situations. I am really thankful that I got one such opportunity to be a part of a curriculum which not just gave me the attitude to judge situations from a larger lens but also the confidence to delve with critical issues in life with ease. I was under the impression that the job of the police was noble in nature, their basic duty being protection of citizens but it pained me to know that police pockets protection money and do turn a blind eye to illegal activities and also indulge in other sorts of corruption. There is no doubt that the police department has to deal with the scum of the society, but taking advantage of their power is uncalled for and I was really hurt when I went deep into the subject and did in-depth studies on corruption in the police department.
