Your country has recently been equipped with the strongest weapon known to man at that time and you can use it, but at the cost of killing 100s of thousands who are innocent. Would you use that weapon even with the consequence of innocent citizens dying caught in the crossfire? In John Hersey’s Hiroshima, we learn that we need to think before we act.
