“Health care is the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in human beings.”(2015). Health care in Canada is organized around a publicly funded health care system, which is mostly free at the point of use and has most services and higher costs provided by private. However, as we know Canadian health care system is not really free as there are monthly premiums or yearly premiums to pay as well as taxes which pay for the entire health care system (Formosa 2013). So health care in Canada becomes a serious issue that people are always talking about is whether all public health care is better than some private and some public health care. On the other side, there are those who believe all public health care is good for Canada. They consider the fact that is a major advantage of this system. As long as the person resides in Canada, they are going to receive some level of health care, even if they are unemployed, student, disabled. Pensioners and so on still get health care in Canada. This is generally the most talked about pro to public health care (Karen, Andreas 2011). Also public health care is safer than private health care.
