Personal Reflection: A Trip To The National Aquarium

I went to the national Aquarium a couple of weeks ago and I had totally forgotten how beautiful the animals and the exhibits are there. I loved every exhibit starting with the sharks and ending with the amazon rain forest exhibit. All the animals and creatures in the aquarium really bring out a different side in me because due to the high technology world we live in, we don’t pay much attention to the nature and its beauty, well at least I don’t pay much attention. When I went the first part that I went to was to see the sharks. It was a magnificent place that really had people paying attention to their every step not to fall into the tank. In the Atlantic predators there was the Largetooth Sawfish that was not a shark but it had a body similar to a shark’s, it was actually a Ray. Its prominent feature is the rostrum, also known as a saw. It can travel very far; its diet is that they eat small fishes, prawns. Their lengths go up to 19.7 ft. and can attain up to 23 feet. These rays are classified as “critically endangered” by the IUCN because they have suffered significant decline...
