3 days ago it was a normal day with the children at school and I was at the office filing some papers. My coworkers yelled out my name, “Ryan”. I came over just thinking they did something stupid and needed my help. I look at the TV and they watch the news in fear. A virus has spread in southern Asia. This virus attacks the brain and makes you crazy and hungry for human flesh. Zombies are in the back rushing towards the reporters. As I watch, live reporters are being mutilated on camera and everybody at work also had their eyes fixed on a TV. Nobody thought it was real and that it was just a hoax somebody was pulling. I resumed working and when my time was over I picked up the kids from school and drove home. My wife was cooking dinner when we got home …show more content…
I drive into a alleyway hoping to lose the cop and wait. The blaring sirens pass and I drive out the other side. I reach the school and find out it on lockdown. I reach the office and beg to let me see my kids. They let me take them and we drive home. When we get home we lock the doors and fortify the house to keep us safe. I went out to the store to grab supplies and food for a couple months. I go back home and find a scared little boy and girl. It starts making me more worried of what could happen. We go to sleep but in the middle of the night I hear banging on the door and the kids screaming. I took a peek through the hole in the door and found a zombie without legs and guts spilling out and leaving a trail of blood towards the door. My wife pick up our shotgun and stands in front of the children. I turn on the TV to see if anyone can stop this or if anyone is trying. The reporter starts talking about how scientist are finding a cure. I lay on the couch and fall asleep while the TV is on. The next morning we make breakfast and let the kids watch TV so they can be happy and then this happens for over 3 months. The news just announced a cure but it's been
Stop! Do not head for the road It is safer to stay in your houses because no matter what the dead will be coming and there is no escaping. Try to be as close as you can to a town so you can get supplies. Zombie proofing your home is the first thing you should do. When Zombie proofing your home, the ideal item would be wood. Board up every window and set traps outside and inside your home. The traps would trap the dead and tell you if they are coming. The absolute safest place to be is in an abandoned prison. Although prison is designed to keep the living inside it is the ideal to keep the dead out. It already have top notch security and a kitchen. Wherever you are try to stay safe and not draw attention to
One night I was kitchen washing the dishes when all of the sudden my mother walked in and asked me if I have talked to my dad. I had replied that I hadn't heard from him in about a year. The next thing I know the words "Your Grandpa passed away yesterday morning, nobody knows were your dad is and they can't keep his body in the morgue past tomorrow." came from her mouth. I just stood there in shock, I couldn’t do anything. She told me to get ready and that we could drive up to my dads house in Ona. When we got there the windows were broken and covered up with some type of sheet and there was a piece of paper on his door that read "Go away. Just leave me alone...please.". We wrote a note and put it on the door and went home. That night I laid in my bed screaming inside my head and crying my eyes out for over a hour. In the morning I had a huge panic attack. I kept hearing ringing and buzzing noises and I could hardly breathe. It took me about thirty minutes to work up the nerve to come out of my bedroom. I ended up going
IT's hard to be a peasant during this Plague! Everybody is dying off, my friends and the older people, even innocent infants. It stinks of death everywhere I go, and we can leave or our lord will kill us. My mom is sick and no one likes her because they think she has he Plague It could be me next, who knows.
Ok. One night my sister and I were at my father’s house. He lives in Kingsville on 10 maybe 9 acres of land in this [small pause, looks at ceiling] I wouldn’t really call it a farmhouse, just a kind of small house out there. The previous person who lived in the house was supposedly shipped to an asylum, for, you know, normal stuff [pause] schizophrenic or something. My sister and I were at the house one night and we were cleaning up the house while my dad was on some sort of job out of the state and my step mom was at work in the hospital. We were doing our stuff, and then the power flickered, and came back on. We didn’t think anything of it. Then, outside of the door, we heard a noise, kinda like a dog barking, but like, just enough not so that we knew it wasn’t. So, we hear this noise, and start to get fre...
Before I enrolled into SAC, I was a non-fan of sports, nervous, young man, who heard about SAC from a friend in Upper School and has tons of hopes for Grade 9. Something was hold me back to go to SAC. , although that "something” terminated after I knew that everyone were Andrean Brothers and that's why I'm currently aiming to perfect the role of a well-rounded citizen. As they say, “Friends are the most ingredient in the recipe of life”. Friends, like Daniel Zhao, who told me about this school changed my whole life. Once I stepped on Andrean soil, I knew that I was part of something special. In addition, I never had "fun" in sports events because I thought I might get hurt. Yet when I joined SAC sports teams, I was afraid
It all started on an early Friday morning when my mom told me to run errand for her in a nearby market. The weather was calm and cloudy. There were no people walking in the streets, or even any other kinds of life. I wondered why the situation was different, but any way I headed to the market to fulfill my duty. To my surprise, when I arrived at the very center of the market, nobody was there. I asked myself if I came earlier than the others, and then I decided to wait for some minutes. I hanged around at least 30 minutes, but nobody came. My heart started to beat tremendously, and terror invaded my mind. When I was about to come back home, everything changed. Firstly, I have heard the sound of a bomb. It was extremely loud and I could not hear anything for a minute, then I fall down because of the severe pain in my ears. After couple minutes, I lost
Everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives, the feeling of being free from high school finally sinking into their minds. Forgetting about all of their problems for the night, and letting loose. My mom always says that I’ll regret this when I grow up; not living the full high school experience. But what is really considered the “high school experience”? It is just going to parties, homecoming dances, prom, and being in relationships? How cliché.
I woke up about 9 o'clock. As usual I turned on the TV. I saw a terrible image of one tower and a lot of smoke was coming out of it. Still not realizing what was happening, I went to another room to pack my stuff in order to go to college. At this time I was thinking that it was just a regular fire and nothing serious. When I got on the bus I saw unusual commotion among people. I could feel panic and fear among people. I wanted to use my cell phone to call my friend to find out if he’s ok, but it did not work.
Throughout my high school experience, I've been able to obtain knowledge that I can use to better my life. Some of the classes I've taken have been a blessing in disguise. For example, I never expected to learn as much as I did about writing and literature by just simply reading. Many of my teachers have pushed me to my limits and inspired me to think differently from my peers. In general my best English experience was reading "MacBeth" by William Shakespeare in Mr. Elwell's class, where I also realized I had many English skills to improve on.
After being there a while, I noticed a grey van passing down the street repeatedly. I did not think much about it since it was not my neighborhood, and Sergio's friend did not pay much attention to them either. All of a sudden, one of Sergio's friends jumped off the hood of a parked car and yelled, "Trucha! Trucha!" (Watch Out!) As he shouted that, I looked up and saw the passenger of the gray van pointing and shooting a gun at me. I felt a tremendous cold chill all over my body, and began to run as fast as I could to the back of the house. All I remember is looking for safety.
Feeling sick to my stomach, I don't know here to go. I can't believe I am lost in the forest that the serial killers met. Trying to have ATM signal, I can only pray and hope it work .The cold weather and the darkness is killing me. Right now all that I wish for is to go home and to be around people that makes me feel safe and protect. Never experiencing this before, I do not know what to expect. I have to maintain myself calm, but the worst thoughts do not leave my head. My mouth is dry and my heart racing because I heard steps coming on my direction. Right now my eyes are full of tears and my soul is overwhelmed. Waking to the tree, I hope to find a place to hide; However I now that I will not be safe. I see a men, my eyes are freeze, I am
The road seemed to be clear, there were no cars coming so Kelly started to cross the street. In a blink of an eye, I watched my best friend, the person that was always there for me, the one that could always make me laugh and cheer me up in second, get hit by a car. I witnessed it all, I could not grasp what had just happed, it seemed so unimaginable, so surreal, and I could not believe it. She flew up into the air, so lifeless and clueless onto what had just happened. I tried to run over to her, but before I knew it a woman was grabbing me while her husband ran to Kelly to check her vitals to see if she was still alive. Within minutes the police and ambulance showed up. The woman that had grabbed me was holding me and trying to keep me calm in her car. Eventually the police had asked for me and were questioning me to see if I knew what exactly had happened, to see if I was okay. I was not okay, I was confused, hurt, scared. I did not know what to do or what I was supposed to comprehend or say to
It was just a normal day. I was living at home with only me, John, and my mom. My dad had died trying to protect the village from a wild animal from the forest. My mom wanted me to go to the market and get some food. So I did. As I made it to the market I could see all of the things being traded. I went to were the food was being traded and traded some stuff for some food. As returned home I noticed a couple of strange voices I didn’t notice. I walked into the house. It got dead silent. Then all last I heard were gunshots until everything went black.
About a hour past and I was just doing my work when John says to another kid next to me “go fix machine 57 section 8.” Then all the sudden CRUSH the kids legs got caught under the machine blood was all around him no was going to help him then SMASH machine hit kid again he died. John said to a lady “lost another one.” After that day me and my brothers were walking home tired. When we walked in our home it was silent our mom dead in a pool of blood, floor stab wounds on her every where. The cops came and took our dad away. The next day I read in the newspaper Ernest goes to jail. My two brothers Edward and Frank got some sort of
It all started one hot summer morning at sunrise, July 5th 2012 around 3 am the day after the 4th of July holiday. I was awakened by the crying and screaming of my family over me yelling at me “Get UP FUNMI PLEASE”! And as I jumped up startled and shaking wondering what’s going on walking into my, mother’s room seeing a rainfall of tears fall down her face, she then tells me with the most hurtful voice ever “YOUR BROTHER HAS BEEN SHOT AND KILLED”! I completely went into shock as, I could feel my heart drop I started to panic badly wishing, and praying, and hoping saying to myself I wish that someone would pinch me, and wake me up from this terrible dream. The news I had gotten at that moment felt so unreal never would a day go pass in, which I would have thought about going through a loss of one of my siblings this soon.
